Section 8 Rental Assistance Program

HUD Sec. JacksonThe HUD has launched the Rental Assistance program. The government gives funds directly to apartment owners, who lower the rents they charge low-income tenants. You can find low-rent apartments for senior citizens and people with disabilities, as well as for families and individuals.

General Program Requirements
In order to qualify for this benefit program, you must need aid in obtaining decent, safe and/or sanitary rental housing and characterize your financial situation as low-income or very low-income.
